Artificial reefs are human-made underwater structure, typically built to promote marine life. Generally they can be considered as protected marine sites and nursery zones.In many cases artificial reefs were built thanks to the Project DOCUP PESCA Measure 3.1 "Protection and development of aquatic resources".
