- Purpose
The National Protected Sites in this layer have been collected in the framework of the CoCoNet project (Towards COast to COast NETworks of marine protected areas, coupled with sea-based wind energy potential) with the aim to have a map of the marine and coastal protected sites in the Mediterranean Sea and Black Sea.
